When I was a child death was the one thing that scared me more than anything else. From when I was very young my mind would wander onto the subject of death, and it would always leave me feeling terrified. I just couldn’t get my head around the fact that when I died I would know nothing ever again. That I would slip away into the oblivion, never to be seen or heard of again, this for me seemed like hell. This idea would come to plague me on many occasions in my earlier years, and it was a black cloud that followed me around in life.
During my mid-twenties back in 2009, just as I began to walk the spiritual path, during one summer evening my dad was sitting out in the back garden and was reading the news paper. He called me out to show me a story he had just read. I could see that this article had clearly sparked his interest, and so I was intrigued to find out more! As I began to read it I had a sense and feeling that this was very important and would shape the direction of my life to come, and so it turned out it did.
The headline of the story read “Reincarnated! Our son is a World War II pilot come back to life”
It was the compelling story of a young boy named ‘James Leininger’ who had nightmares and memories of being a fighter pilot who had died in World War II, here is a brief description of what happened from
a review of the book written by the parents called “Soul Survivor: The Reincarnation of a World War II Fighter Pilot” taken from Amazon : -
“James Leininger was just two years old when he began having disturbing nightmares that would not stop. He screamed out in the night: 'Plane on fire! Little man can't get out!' While nightmares are common among children, what happened next shocked those around him... James began to reveal details of planes and war tragedies that no two-year-old boy could know. His desperate parents were at a loss to help him until he said three things: 'Corsair', 'Natoma' and 'Jack Larsen'.
From these tantalising clues, James's parents travelled thousands of miles and spent many long years piecing together these facts to try and find an answer that could end his torment. Finally, despite his mother's fears and his father's staunch Christian beliefs, they found only one possibility to the endless coincidences that surrounded every detail in James's life - that their son was reliving the past life of a World War II fighter pilot.
Their touching story is one that will challenge sceptics and confirm the beliefs of those who already believe in life after death”
This story had me amazed, and it challenged me to deeply question my previously held assumptions about death, which I’d hidden in the deep dark recesses of my mind. It sparked off a desire within me to research the topics of Near Death Experiences, Reincarnation, Past Life hypnotherapy, Between Life Hypnotherapy etc.
Here is a great website on the subject of Near Death Experiences if you wish to start learning more; -
I would recommend looking into the people such as Raymond Moody, Brian Weiss and Michael Newton for a greater understanding of the vast anecdotal evidence available about Life after Life. There are also many others so do your own research and learn in a way that works best for you. The Universe can speak to you, but like each one of our voices sounds unique so too is our interpretation of Universal Truths.
This quest for knowledge ended up with me seeking out a local hypnotherapist that was trained in the Michael Newton Method of "Life between Live’s Hypnotherapy" in early 2012.
This involves you being taken back to a previous life, and then to the death of that life. From here you are taken on the journey which your soul takes between that Life and the next one you embarked on.
I was regressed back to a life lived in 1800's England, as a woman named Sarah. I had a hard life but a good one. I lost both my husband (who happens to be my sister in this life) and youngest child during this life, and when asked why this happened I said “to prepare me for feeling lonely in this life” (the one I am now living) I was taken to the point in that life where I was about to die. I found myself bed bound and surrounded by my loved ones, I had been very ill and could barely breath, slowly I ran out of energy to breathe and slipped away.
Suddenly I was free of pain and suffering, looking down from above at my dead body below. I knew I had done this journey many times before and so I started to move towards my home, the spirit world. This is not up or down, nor in or out, for me it was a different type of movement completely.
During my journey I came across two forms of pure energy that were morphing and shifting which I instantly recognised as my Gran and older brother from this life. We communicated telepathically, and excitedly reacquainted and reminisced. From here I moved into spirit world which simply cannot be explained with words, but has to be perceived for oneself.
It was from here that I went on to meet my spirit guide whose form assumed that of an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh who was beautifully adorned and glowing with a golden light. The hypnotherapist asked me his name, and the significance of the attire, to which he responded “my name is Amenhotep and I am his spirit guide, I am dressed like this because we were last together in Ancient Egypt.” Seeing my guide I was in awe at his wisdom and beauty, it was like looking into the eyes of a god. Our relationship was like that of siblings, he was my older and wiser sibling who thrived in helping me get the best out of myself.
With this personal experience coupled with all the research I had carried out (there is plenty out there if you choose to look and entertain the idea that you have been here before and you will be here again.) I am now a firm believer that death is not the end, but a rebirth into our spiritual forms which are eternal and immortal.
This knowing was incredibly liberating, my biggest fear that of death had transmuted into a feeling of wonder and anticipation about my other grander life. I knew that I had lived many lives before, in many places, in many different times on a quest for completeness. I had been both sexes, rich and poor, beautiful and ugly, kind and hating, strong and weak, honest and dishonest, a master and a slave. By experiencing the grand plethora that life has to offer, the richness in our lives vastly deepens, and opens up glorious new and exciting avenues for us to explore.
I came to understand about the nature of duality and that when birth came into being so did death. I come to know that to live forever I had to forever die, because in truth life would die without death. That through dying I became immortal, and If one never died then one could never live. Death is a beautiful illusion that allows us to know our eternal selves, and a gift that helps us grow. To be born is to choose to die, but in death we are reborn into our true selves, the infinite, eternal energy that we have always been, and will always be.
When we come to know that the loved ones we thought we had lost forever are still alive and more well than we ever could have dreamt of, we gain a great deal of comfort. The one’s in our lives we felt the deepest connections with, we always felt like we’d known them before, and that’s because we had. If you don’t believe ask a loved one who you have "lost" to bring you a message that they are still with you and be open to receive it. The truth is no one really dies.
In this dimension of Light and Dark of Life and Death, death plays a vital role in renewing life, in creating value to that life. Life feeds off death, just like death feeds off life. By losing someone temporarily you get to be with them forever. It’s not until someone dies that you fully appreciate what it meant to have them alive. It’s not until something is taken away from you that you completely understand its true value.
As night turns to day we will face a collective death, the death of our egos, and a rebirth into our bigger selves. The more we grip onto the old ways, the harder the transition will be. The ego is terrified of dying because it believes it is the body and that with the body it will die, yet the soul knows the body is merely something we are inhabiting in order to experience physical reality.
As we become aligned with our souls our fear of death will become a thing of the past, we will see that we can never die because we are life itself. As the egos dominance passes, so too does the reign of fear, because the soul is free of fear and understands that fear was never real and was a mind trick of the ego. A life dominated by the ego is a world of darkness and illusions, of separation and hostilities, the soul is the light and the deeper truth.
If we can let go of life as we know it as the ego and become our deeper spiritual selves we will move into a new way of living seamlessly, however if we resist the changes life will become very turbulent as the new waves of consciousness clash with the old.
Are you ready to commit to a deeper purpose in life? To make your life about serving others? Only by doing this will you understand the value in serving the real you.
The only way we can know the spirit world is to be able to experience the world of physical matter. The aim is to create a physical manifestation of heaven on earth, and allow the physical and spiritual to unite. As a spiritual being we transcend the polarities by unifying them, and allowing that to enable us to evolve into the Global super being we are destined to be.
Do not believe my statements blindly; - research these ideas, book yourself in for some past life and between life hypnotherapy and get in touch with your immortal identities. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain from this avenue of research. By knowing you have lived before you will know that you will live again, and so the fear of death can no longer hold the same grip over you.
Remembering the truth about our immortal identities becomes clearer as night become day, as the darkness turns into light. We are finding this out now because we are entering into a new chapter where the story takes an unexpected turn. This turn as it turns out is truly beautiful, and is just waiting for you to see it.
Death cannot harm you because you are not your body, you are a being made of light that has merged with a physical earth form. Your light body is eternal and infinite, and this form can never die.
You are a Spiritual form that is directly linked to the Source which is God.
Death is nothing to fear and it is ultimately just a clever illusion that acts as a great tool for experimenting with life. Death allows us to be parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, lovers. If we never died, we never would have lived.Do not fear death, and then you can truly love life.
“I'm not afraid of death because I don't believe in it.
It's just getting out of one car, and into another.”
