War

June 22, 2017

War has plagued our planet all throughout the night, leading to death, destruction, terror, suffering and misery. We have been lost in the darkness seemingly unable to work out how to end conflict, stuck in a perpetual cycle of self-abuse on a planetary scale. Every act of war is a war against the self, it is self-harm that is acted out on the global stage. War is a raw affair and The Voice Of Darkness has been behind ALL wars speaking to those on both sides and enticing them to fight with one another. The Voice Of Darkness has blocked our way to peace but do not worry for this was the darkness’s purpose during the night. Don’t forget the night is the time for war and conflict, a time for blood to be spilled.

In our modern world war has become a very profitable business with trillions of pounds spent worldwide annually on weapons of mass destruction. It has got to the point where giant weapons manufacturers wield great power and influence on Government foreign policy and have done for some time. A great obstacle to finding peace has been the treasures to be gained from bloodshed by those who have never themselves set foot in any war zone.

“I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.”

― Smedley D. Butler, from the great book War is a Racket: The Antiwar Classic by America's Most Decorated Soldier

The amount of resources we spend on arms is mammoth, good resources refined to kill and destroy, to maim and break. Until war is no longer so profitable for the arms traders we will always create more reasons to fight. If we want peace why are we manufacturing so many weapons endlessly? No society that is serious about finding peace spends so much on arms and turns the arms industry into one of the most lucrative industries on the planet. Spending so much on arms makes society less secure not more.

“WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one

international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the

losses in lives.”

― Smedley D. Butler, War Is a Racket

In a world where so many are going without the basic needs just to survive the justification for ploughing so much of our precious resources into the military is completely unfounded yet in the night seems completely logical. This just leads to greater inequality and leads to more anger, resentment and hostility. Yet these are the lessons the night teaches us so well, how to prioritise our wealth so that it leads to peace and harmony and not ends up fueling an erupting cycle of perpetual violent conflict.

“You know, it's funny, when it rains it pours

They got money for wars but can't feed the poor”

2Pac

"Keep Ya Head Up"

Those who send troops so readily into conflict have no true regard for their lives, they are used as tools which are expendable. The ones who are willing to fight and die on the front line should be the ones to decide whether to go to war or not. How can a person who is not willing to die on the front line decide to send others to do so?

“Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.”

― Henry Kissinger

The soldiers that do the fighting on both sides are extremely brave yet so many soldiers on both sides are in the same boat and are fighting someone else’s war for reasons they do not fully understand. As we move into the light soldiers will stop taking orders without asking why, they will no longer allow themselves to be pawns in a game by those who have no regards for them or their families. It is time soldiers refuse to fight for those who cannot be trusted, those who do not fight by their sides but from safe distances thousands of miles away. Those who have been shown to lie in the past in order to follow a hidden agenda.

The only justification for conflict is in defending our own shores and own homes from an attacker, when we are in a foreign land fighting for reasons we don’t understand we can be sure it is not for our benefit but for the benefit of the ones who sent us there.

In today’s world where the major military players have nuclear arms we are facing our own destruction, our own suicide. This is why we are awakening because if we did not we would sleep walk into our own annihilation.

“In a nuclear world the true enemy is war itself” – Denzel Washington in Crimson Tide

Disagreements do not need to lead to violence. Differences should be celebrated and not fought over. This will be a spiritual revolution, and when we are in union with our souls we will see violence can never be the answer to creating peace, only being peaceful can do that. War is good for creating more war; if you wish to suffer violence perpetuate it. Just like when you punch someone you are likely to get into a fight. Let’s stop throwing punches now and live in peace. It doesn’t matter who was first or last as we were all guilty at some point. Let’s put this behind us and start again with the new day.

“The real and lasting victories are those of peace, and not of war.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

If we are to move beyond the need for violent conflict, we must face our own atrocities and not just those of our enemy. Our most deadly opponent is ourselves; in fact, truly we are our only enemy. Until we can find peace within there will always be war raging in the outer world, the outer world reflects our own inner level of consciousness. The battles in the world reflect our own internal battles with the dark forces residing in our own minds. This is like the butterfly effect where violent conflicts in the internal world lead to chaos and violence in the outer world. War is a result of our collective anger and is there because we lost our purpose and connection to Life. This happened because of the night but now we can face our shadows and see there is nothing to fear.

"Unless we make our shadows conscious, they will continue to be projected out onto the world. War is nothing more than two sides, each projecting their shadow onto the other."

Teal Swan

I looked high and low in search of my true enemy, only to find him staring back at me in the still waters of my own mind. It was only in the stillness of my mind, created by being at peace with myself that enabled me the ability to see the bigger picture clearly. When you are full of anger and hostility towards your enemy, your mind is too chaotic to see that it is you, and so the image is distorted and projected onto others, until the moment you are ready to see it.

“The only way we can ever change anything

Is to look in the mirror and find no enemy”

Akala

“Find No Enemy”

The very finest fighter is the one who is best at avoiding conflict; the greatest warrior is the one who has found peace. When we terrorise others, we too will be terrorised. No country will ever be safe if they are an aggressor. Until we have empathy with our enemies and play fairly we will be consumed by hate.

As long as one does not see unity they will always have enemies. When you can see through your enemies eyes you will see that they are not your enemy but a long lost friend in need of reminding of who they truly are. Finding peace is not found in inflicting harm on those who have hurt you but understanding why and showing them the way. You can see that those who wish to harm you are parts of your own self that require healing.

It is time to establish a new world order in the name of peace. It is the duty of those of us who no longer wish to tolerate war and violence to speak out against it and take power from those who so readily and easily engage in it. It is time we made the word and act of war antiquated and resigned to the history books so our children can know peace.

“I dream of giving birth to a child who will ask,

Mother, what was war?”

― Eve Merriam

We can and will make this dream a reality; -  violence is the act of a young species which happens during its early maturation when experiencing the journey from night time to day, from unconsciousness to consciousness. A fully conscious individual does not engage in violence unless attacked directly and left with no choice but to defend themselves. Unless we come to find peace we never would have understood the true value of war, a large purpose of war is to learn not to fight. During the night we required the catalyst of war to help us awaken yet now we are awakening we can let it go.

“Imagine all the people living life in peace

You may I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one

I hope someday you will join us

And the world will be as one.”

John Lennon

Imagine.

That someday is today my fellow dreamers. During the magical moment of day break our unity and Oness is realised spectacularly, as we make our dark sides conscious we become enlightened. As The Voice Of Light speaks to us so beautifully we find peace within ourselves, and make peace with the world. We embrace our dark side and fill it with our light, we overcome our fears through unconditional love. We can turn our tears to laughter, our despair to joy and find peace by making peace with war. Through understanding we can find it is in us to forgive what appeared to be the unforgivable.

“Peace can only come as a natural consequence of universal enlightenment...”

― Nikola Tesla

I feel it in you as you read these words, a light growing inside of you, a light that will light up the world and lead the way. We are the generation to put an end to conflict because this is the day and the day is the time for peace and prosperity, for love and happiness. As the moment of our mass awakening moves closer all that has happened under darkness shall be brought to light and the dark forces that have been in control of our planet will lose their grip. This will enable us to find peace, when we have the power back in the hands of the people, a people who have become enlightened by the light of day, war will no longer be tolerated as a viable course of action.

May peace be with you my friends.
