“Without the ability to forget you would never know, because you would know but you would not know you knew, and therefore you would never know.”
If you always knew everything you would know nothing because there would be nothing new to know.
In truth you are everything that exists yet if that is all you ever knew yourself to be then you could never know yourself at all. You would be everything yet know yourself as nothing, and so this is where the forgetting process comes in. I want you to picture someone or something really precious that you took for granted in your life and lost, and suddenly the value of what you had lost became evident in abundance…this is the forgetting process, when it was all you had ever known you had forgotten the value until it was gone, and then suddenly you remembered.
Your home is paradise, a literal heavenly realm, yet it was not until you came here that suddenly you knew what that place truly meant. You had been surrounded by resplendent beauty, and had every care met, yet the sublime had become mundane and you knew it was time to forget because being everything means nothing unless you can be less than everything. Having everything is like having nothing if that’s all you have ever known. You knew you had to understand the meaning of “losing it all to gain it all” and so you as an almighty, all knowing, all-encompassing energy asked to come to earth.
Here at this epoch in history there is abundance of opportunities for spiritual growth and evolution. To choose light in the darkness offers far more growth than when you know your true identity. Here we chose to forget our true immortal infinite selves and believe in the mass created illusion that we are only the egos we came here to play in this short earth life…our human identities. By doing this suddenly we knew what it was to feel small, to be like a small fish in a big pond, to feel like an insignificant tiny fragment in a giant and hostile world.
Suddenly we went from knowing everything to knowing nothing, yet in knowing nothing it gave us the opportunity to remember that we knew and therefore really know. During our time here in the physical world on earth we are everything we are not, we can die, we can feel pain, we can suffer, we act selfishly, we are lost. Yet in experiencing these things we can remember that truly we are immortal beings free of pain, and suffering, and completely one with everything else.
It is only by becoming the opposite of what you are that you can you know what it is that you actually are. By forgetting who you are you can choose to be who you are, if you were to never forget you could not make that choice. It is only by choosing to be who you are that there is value in being who you are. Here on earth in every moment you are offered new opportunities to express your true identity. The closer your choices come to serving the Whole the closer you get to manifesting your divinity into physical reality.
When you realise you are a nobody that makes you a somebody, when you see that you are ordinary that makes you extra ordinary, when you see you are ugly that makes you beautiful, when you know nothing you know everything, when you let go you seize control, when you are lost you are found. This is the world of paradoxical polarities a puzzle so hard it was easy, so simple to understand, yet so complex to understand that you understood. In coming to remember comes the time to forget in order that you may remember once again that you knew. That when you learn everything you understand that there was nothing to know, because you already knew it all and then it is time to forget that you know, so that you may know that you know once again. This is the eternal cycle between knowing and not knowing.
My job here with these words is to remind you who truly are behind that rather splendid earth costume that you are wearing. The human you is just a small fraction of your true identity, the real you is much bigger than this, like an iceberg so much is hidden beneath the surface of your perception. This book you are holding is you, these words are you, the air you are breathing is you, the room you are sitting in is you, that tree outside is you…it is ALL you. You are every human being that has ever lived, every animal, every tree, every planet, every star it is all made of the same energy that you are. It all manifests from the same single source, and it is all working in perfect harmony.
Now we have gone through the forgetting process we can inherit once again our birth right of our true identity. The forgetting process has worked in allowing us to know once again in this moment of glory who we really are. We are love, we are life, we are the energy that bonds us all. We can now we realise the glorious truth that we are Divinity made manifest into flesh, together we are God, and as this truth is realised we become bonded to something much greater than what we believed life to be. Suddenly we go from seeing ourselves as nothing, to knowing that we are everything, and that it is the journey through knowing nothing that leads to the destination of understanding everything.
As you come to see the value of the forgetting process the pain of being lost is seen as invaluable, and this leads us on to great balance of life. And don’t forget:-
“You are a being that knows everything, but in order to know that you must also know nothing.”
To remember you must forget, the moment you forget is when you begin the journey back to remembering once again so have no fear just; -
Forget Everything And Remember*
When these come together that is when what you know really means something and that is a priceless place to be so welcome home my brave friend.
